Silkroad’s Global Musician Workshop (GMW) presents a series of concerts featuring award-winning faculty and participants showcasing 80 musicians from 30 different countries on stage!

To kick off the five-day GMW Performance Festival, GMW Faculty will perform arrangements blending music from India, Sierra Leone, Mali, the United States, China, Lebanon, and more. Following the opening concert, join us for four unforgettable nights as GMW Participants (including our 8-person team from Sierra Leone!) take the stage alongside faculty members, presenting a dynamic mix of traditional and contemporary music from diverse cultures.

Berklee Professional Music Department and Berklee Global Initiatives present a performance workshop with Telem Uncommon Sounds. We will share sounds from the new wave of experimental music coming out of Sierra Leone, and you can join us to jam!
